The Narrow GATE is the WAY to Spiritual Intimacy

“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road is easy that leads to destruction, and there are many who take it. For the gate is narrow and the road is hard that leads to life and there are few who find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14).

I begin with this idea of the narrow gate to intimate life in the Spirit with the very words that Jesus Christ used about entering the Spiritual Kingdom of God. WE need to understand this in order to grow in our new life and from our new creature or we will just keep staying on the same old confusing paths trying to figure out which way to go and how to get “into” a deeper connection with God.

The Narrow Gate is a metaphor for the kingdom of God. Metaphors are ways to help comprehend something that is hard to understand. They are often a comparison of something literal or even somewhat abstract that helps us “see into” or gain intimate understanding. In this case, Jesus is showing that we do not get into His way or His path by following the way of destruction that ruins our intimacy with His Spirit. So, first, you may have to investigate (notice that word ends with the syllable—gate). YOU may have to look into the ways you are destroying deeper connections with the Holy Spirit. For example, do you try to go your own way and not ask for help from Him until you in trouble? If so, there is the narrow way-ask, seek and knock for help first from the Power of the Holy Spirit.

Any gate is an entrance and it can be blocked, but you have access to get in if you know the code. The code for the Spiritual Intimacy with God is through one door-Christ. He has placed the power in you to freely use as a key to gain an opening or portal to the Higher Planes where God resides. He is not in the lower places of fear and doubt. He is in the Highest places right in your own mind, but those places must stay in the LIGHT or you or you will fumble around in the dark when you seek help there. How do you stay in the Light? You keep your light bright and not dimmed by others. You keep shining so you can see your own spiritual growth.

The Narrow Gate can be barricaded shut if you shut out love and light. The Broad Way is like Broadway…filled with lights of choices of destruction. You can go down that path but you better have the Holy Spirit with you to show you the way to get in the SHOWS you need to see and not the ones that do not help you. For example, one of the broad ways that leads to destruction is to complain and act like a victim that is helpless and hopeless. Get up and go into the narrow way that will give you victory-trust the Higher Power to change your voice, lift off the negative energy and SEE the hand that will lift you up above your circumstances so you can see clearly.

Our senses are changed when we keep stepping up and seeing beyond what has previously been unavailable without a personal and intimate relationship with God. When you know God, you are also able to know your true self and see through lies and distortions that keep your old brain on a program continuously telling you untruths and deceptions. The New Creature Mind has connection with TRUTH that can set you free from the broad brush of dishonesty and keep your Being Alive to Paths that lead into places of honesty and transparency. That gate keeps opening and the Journey never ends to show you amazing and wonderful inner knowings you would never be able to find on your own. You need the Spiritual Partner to find these ways. They are secret and require High Security Clearance!
